12jun03-SUN-Left Owen Sound and Dinner with Calvin in Toronto and Hotel

Left Owen Sound at about 4pm, arrived at our hotel "DoubleTree"(By Hilton) at 655 Dixon Road near the Airport (a friend of ours, a Pilot (Captain of a private jet), Drew Mathies, recommended to us.  They have a huge waterslide (but we didn't try it).

We dropped our bags off, then went to Yorkdale mall, to meet Calvin, and we went to dinner at a small restaurant, the "Royal Elephant" at 1100 Eglinton Ave.  Had a nice meal.  I had "Roated Duck Curry" (it was delicious!) $14, Ingrid had Chicken Famous BBQ $14, and Calvin had Tofu+Veg Green Curry $9.  RoyalElephant.ca


Then to Hilton "DoubleTree" where we had a King Size bed... the room was WAY over in the corner, so quite a walk for us /me... and parking was two parking lots BEHIND the hotel, so a lot of driving/walking, but, hey, we made it!... (next time we will just get a close room, or another hotel where parking is closer)...
